There is something really true..there's nothing like SALEMA's BLUE
How to find Salema ?
Our tiny town of Salema is just a couple of minutes off the N125 that runs across the Algarve. As Salema is in about the middle between Lagos and Sagres or the Cabo de São Vicente it makes it the perfect stopover which are more popular then our tiny hometown we did see already plenty of people falling simply in love with Salema by coincidence.
If you don't have a private transport, then the only public transport is the local bus service operated by EVA. They go from Lagos to Sagres * EVA 47
or Lagos to Vila do Bispo *EVA 82 and both stop in Salema. a single ticket costs about 2,80€ and return ticket 5,60€. Lagos is accessible to wider Algarve bz both regional bus and also bz trainservice.
When you arrive Salema....
Once you arrive in Salema, you will find our centred small beautifully bay. Most likely you arrive at the lively square in the Center which actually a car park surrounded bz cafe's and shops directly on the top of the beach. If you follow the any of the steep cobbled streets that lead that square zou will find more cafe's and bars even through not plenty's of that. If zou find the car park full you will find a additional free parking marked to nearby wildflowers field with Eukaliptus trees and stork nests.
